  • show Skipped ops as toolbar button

i personly think it would be great to see the Show skipped ops as Indvidual button we can add to the toolbar
as it would enable diactivation of showing the whole toolpaths before we actually enter into simulation
because once you hit the sim it automatically start calculating..
and by makeing a bitton it would disable the toolpath calc before it starts simulating.

Isn't that the truth? If you have a lot of processes or a complicated part, and you accidentally check "skip unselected ops", you're just stuck waiting for it to render your part. There needs to be a "render abort" function. And maybe even a "Cancel Launch" function like Solidworks has - Once Gibbs starts launching, it's quite the resource hog, and it also steals control from the active window several times during loading. Like the dog in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, once it gets started you're best to just let it finish.

George, can you send me an example file that demonstrates this?

The next-next update of 23 (23.0.43 or later, .42 is currently in testing) will make it so the "Stop" button as well as "ctrl+." will interrupt the background rendering. Not the setting on the toolbar, but it's a start.
