I'm looking for a machinist/programmer to program, setup, and run decently complex automotive die parts from start to finish. This is probably going to be a 2nd or 3rd shift position M-F. Everything being machined is for internal use, so it's fairly relaxed vs a job shop or a company building dies for someone else. Almost everything we machine is a run of one, no production.
We have a 5-axis horizontal (Grob), a medium sized bridge mill, (Okuma), a wire EDM (Sodick), and are in the final stages of aquiring a Makino D500 5-axis.
I would like to find someone with 5+ years of GibbsCAM (or similar) programming experience, but might consider someone with less, depending on other job experience.
Chattanooga, Tennessee
Pay is $27 - $40hr, D.O.E., relocation assistance possible, 401k match, and insurance.
Multiple positions open.
Reply here or send me a PM if interested.
